After years of instability, Nevaeh arrived at Street School carrying challenges no young person should have to face. At 15, she left her hometown and moved to Tulsa to live with her aunt, who provided the stability and support she needed to begin a new chapter.

At Street School, Nevaeh found teachers who took the time to understand how she learns. She often struggled in traditional classrooms, but here, small adjustments and individualized support helped her thrive. Encouraged by teachers who recognized her strengths, she gained confidence, discovered a love of reading, and embraced her creativity.

With the support of her Street School Therapist, Nevaeh is on the path to pursue her dream of becoming a mechanic, enrolling at Tulsa Tech and ultimately joining the U.S. Navy. In May of 2026, she graduated not only as a student, but as a young woman ready to build a bright future.
